*About the Artist

Chojnicki grew up in the tranquility of rural central New York. Her art is an outlet to express the spirit that lies within, reflecting the memories of her travels from the peaceful countryside of central New York, the lights of Paris to the wild surf of the Pacific Ocean and the charm of New England.

Working in large-scale canvas, allows her to grab the viewer’s attention and bring them into her mind and soul. Permitting the viewer to be drawn in, thus giving them the experience of new sensations through her use of color and movement.  Her paintings captivate the eye, keeping them transfixed on the canvas. Empowering the art to become the outlet of her energetic nature and imagination, moving them from one colorful area to another in harmony for the viewer to enjoy.

Chojnicki has been published in New England Magazine, Rhode Island Monthly, The Boston Times and Home & Gardens UK. She is represented in several galleries in the United States and in the United Kingdom. She has a Bachelor’s degree from the American University of Paris and a BFA from SUNY Oswego. She has been happily married for 32 years to her loving husband Eric and is the proud mother of an Autistic daughter working in Disability Services at the University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh and triplet sons that just graduated with their bachelor's degrees are working in finance, international business and emergency medicine. Her main residence is in Florida, however she has returned home to central New York to help her aging father of 95 years.

Work on boosting your mental health.

Driven by curiosity and built on purpose, this is where My paintings are created through an experimental release of my own spontaneous energy that comes from within, it is created to be life-affirming. I use acrylics, water and ink to creatively provide a visual playground of freedom. I prefer working in large scale so that I can capture the viewer’s imagination by encompassing the entire wall drawing them into my world.  To captivate the onlooker’s attention and transport them to a world beyond logic -- to a place of quiet introspection.

My art is a symphony of energetic creative expression for the eye. An illusion built of color and movement that provide a union of sensations to create a moment that is rich in feeling for the viewer. Allowing the paint to evoke the mood and feel of its true essence and spontaneity for the viewer to enjoy. Bold thinking meets thoughtful execution. Let’s create something meaningful together. My works will help bring harmony to your soul.
